A slow-moving, long-lived marine snail, the queen conch (Strombus gigas) inhabits seagrass beds in Caribbean and western Atlantic Ocean waters, in the Florida Keys, and the Gulf of Mexico, around Bermuda and as far south as Brazil.
The older the Queen Conch is the thicker the shell. These sea creatures can live up to 30 years and only get more beautiful with age!
They come in a variety of natural colours, creams, white deep pink and when in direct sunlight does naturally bleach to reveal its pale pink and blended creamy white colouring.
