Lay-By Terms & Conditions

We know sometimes you just can’t afford it all straight away, but OMG you found the crystals that really resonate with you.

We do have the option to Lay-by your items with Crystal Realms.

There are some Terms & Conditions we need you to understand & agree to when using this service.

Introduction:

These Lay-by Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the terms and conditions governing lay-by arrangements (“Lay-by”) between (“Store”) Crystal Realms Australia & the customer in South Australia.

By entering into a Lay-by, the customer agrees to abide by the terms set forth below.

Terms & Conditions

Section 1

Lay-by with Crystal Realms Australia is available for purchases over $50.
Lay-by is a duration of 8 weeks.
An open invoice or paylink will be provided with an invoice number which also acts as your Lay-by account number.
The commencement date of the Lay-by will be the invoice date.
An email will be provided with a link to make regular payments.
Payments will be the remainder of the invoice total divided into 8 fortnightly equal instalments.
The lay-by can be paid off in full at any time.
A 20% Deposit is required at the commencement of the Lay-by with no delay. If payment is not received within at commencement of the Lay-by, Crystal Realms Australia has the right to terminate the Lay-by as per Australian Consumer Law.
The contract of Layby Commences when the deposit is fully paid.
Regular fortnightly payments are required to be made until the Lay-by is paid in full.
If a payment is missed, a notice of default will be provided via email once to arrange payment as per these terms and conditions.
Once the Lay-by total is paid in full & and finalised, you will be contacted with notice of the finalisation of your purchase and to verify the shipping details.
The items will be shipped out to the address provided, ensure this is correct.
Shipping is low cost, fixed price of $6.50 Australia Wide! Tracking will be provided!

Any loans or payment plans are a inherent risk involved with financial decisions therefore Crystal Realms Australia will not be held liable for decisions the consumer makes entering into this Lay-by agreement and will abide the full Terms & Conditions of the Lay-by Contract.

Cancellation & Refunds of Lay-by:

Section 2

If in the event the Lay-by is cancelled by the buyer:

The 20% deposit will not be refunded as this serves as the termination/restocking fee.
The remainder of the balance paid by the consumer will be refunded in full.
Refunds will be given via a chosen & agreed method of payment excluding any surcharges applicable.
There is a transaction 2.5% surcharge for refunds through Stripe or Paypal.
There are no transaction surcharges for a gift card which carries regular gift card terms & and conditions following Australian Consumer Law.

Section 3

If in the event the Lay-by is cancelled by the Crystal Realms Australia:

If an unforeseen situation the product or products are no longer available and this is outside the business control, a full refund with a waiver of all fees and surcharges will be provided to the customer.
If the customer has failed to make regular set fortnightly payments Crystal Realms Australia has the right to terminate the Lay-by as per Australian Consumer Law & Crystal Realms Australia Layby terms and conditions. In this instance, the Lay-by cancellation by the buyer will apply as stated in Section 2.
